Tracking OKRs & Milestones
Tracking progress is essential for any accelerator. Cohortly gives you two tools for this: Milestones (key deliverables) and OKRs (Objectives & Key Results).
Milestones
Milestones are specific deliverables or achievements that a startup needs to reach — like "Launch MVP", "First 100 Users", or "Close Seed Round".
From a startup's detail page, you can:
- Add milestones with a title, description, and target date
- Track status — Not Started, In Progress, Completed
- Add notes — Document progress and blockers
OKRs (Objectives & Key Results)
OKRs provide a more structured framework for goal-setting.

How OKRs Work
- Objective — A qualitative goal (e.g., "Achieve product-market fit")
- Key Results — Measurable outcomes that indicate progress (e.g., "Reach 1,000 DAU", "Achieve 40% retention")
- Progress tracking — Update completion percentage over time
Tips
- Set milestones at the program level to define standard checkpoints all startups should hit
- Review OKRs during mentor sessions to keep startups accountable
- Use milestones for hard deliverables and OKRs for growth metrics
